A worldwide non-profit organization created by the Spanish government in 1991. The Cervantes Institute, a government agency, is the largest organization in the world responsible for promoting the study and the teaching of Spanish language and culture.
Spanish World is the only school in Hong Kong officially accredited by the Cervantes Institute. This would be the Spanish government’s equivalent of the British Council, or the Alliance Française.
La Librería HK opened in November 2013. Throughout the years, it has become a point of reference for teachers of Spanish language, students, and Spanish speaking people who look for Spanish book titles in Hong Kong.
